The scientific name of  glycol is "1, 2-glycol". There's a chiral carbon atom in the molecule. The racemate is a viscous liquid with easy hygroscopicity and a slightly spicy taste. Soluble in water,  soluble in ether. It can be dissolved in many essential oils, but it is not miscible withparaffin and grease. More stable to heat and light, more stable at low temperatures. Glycol can be oxidized to  lactic acid, pyruvate and acetic acid at high temperatures.

The packaging is 200kg plastic drum and 1000kg ton drum. This product should be stored in a ventilated and dry room to prevent Direct sunlight exposure, transport and storage at 5-35° C, the effective storage period is six months from the date of packaging.
