hydroxyethyl cellulose HEC 50000 is a water soluble non-ionic hydroxyethylcellulose. It is used as a thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in water based paints and surface coatings. At the same time it gives mechanical and chemical stability, while offering a good colour acceptance, colour development, viscosity retention on tinting, superior biostability, fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water.

Application

HEC50000P is widely used for water-based paints. It provides good pseudoplastic flow and wide compatibility with colored pigments, emulsion polymers, surfactants, emulsifiers, defoamers, and preservatives. In order to avoid lump formations caused by a quicker than optimal dissolution rate, HEC50000P is properly treated to achieve optimum hydration time for the application.

6. Packaging & Storage

· Packaging: HEC50000P is packed 25kgnet multi-layer paper bag with polyethylene inner liner. 
HEC50000P should be stored under dry and clean conditions in its original packaging due to 
its hygroscopic property. If not,HEC50000P can absorb moisture relative to the humidity in 
the air. HEC50000P is not a perishable product. 
If it stored in closed containers, in its original packaging and in a dry place at room 
temperature,HEC50000P can maintain its original properties.
