Construction technology

Before the construction of water-based industrial paint, it is necessary to check whether the construction conditions meet the requirements, and the following aspects should be noted: the base material and ambient temperature of 5~40 ° C, the base material temperature is more than 3 ° C higher than the air dew point temperature, and the relative humidity during construction and drying is not more than 75%. If the construction conditions are not met, they can be improved by heating the substrate, ventilation, heating, etc. At the same time, the construction site should pay attention to cleaning to prevent substances with large surface tension in the air from falling into the surface of the paint film, resulting in shrinkage holes, concave points, pinholes and other phenomena. After the construction conditions are met, the construction shall be carried out.
1. Substrate surface treatment
The substrate is treated with the method of "oil removal - > shot blasting - > Rust removal - > slag removal" to ensure that the surface of the substrate should be dry and free from impurities such as oil and dust. The substrate treatment should be above Sa2 or St2 level.
2. Construction method
Before construction, the paint should be diluted with water, the proportion of water is less than 15%, and the construction should be completed after mixing evenly. The thickness of the paint film sprayed according to different product categories, one-time spraying should not be too thick. In order to achieve the required thickness of the workpiece, multiple spraying can be performed.
It can be applied by spraying, roller coating, brush coating, etc. Different construction methods, spray gun requirements of different caliber. For air spraying, the recommended nozzle diameter is 1.0~3.0mm, and the paint pressure at the nozzle is 0.4~0.6MPa; Airless spraying, recommended nozzle diameter 0.38~0.53mm. Roller coating/brush coating and other methods are recommended for a small range of use, such as the hole, seam, Angle, dead Angle and other parts of the workpiece.
Step 3: Dry.
It can be dried naturally or baked at low temperature. The baking temperature should not exceed 100ºC, and the baking time should not exceed 4 hours. If the workpiece is too thick and drying is too slow, the baking temperature and time can be appropriately increased

3. Brush coating, spraying, rolling coating method can be used for construction, the paint should be stirred evenly before painting, if the viscosity of the original paint is high, a small amount of water can be added appropriately, the amount of water should not exceed 10%, should be added while stirring to ensure that the paint is uniform;
4. During the construction, the paint film can be self-drying or low temperature drying. The drying condition temperature shall not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius and the humidity shall not be higher than 85%; When drying, the room temperature flow flat time is not less than 15 minutes, the baking temperature is 80 degrees Celsius, not less than 20 minutes;
5. During construction, it is strictly prohibited to mix with other paints and organic solvents to prevent deterioration. At the end of construction, all appliances should be immediately washed with water to prevent dry solid. The remaining paint should be kept airtight.
6. Rain, snow and fog weather can not be constructed outdoors, such as the construction can be covered by tarpaulin to protect the paint film.
